A few lucky fans
were able, back in the day, to visit the studio where Beauty and the
Beast was filmed.
We're grateful they memorialized their visits with photos so that we
can peek "behind the scenes" of some of the "Below" sets!
Most of the photos were taken by Brooke
Rodriguez from the Carousels and Caverns Community. Photos 53-70 were
taken by Vicky Burke. A few of the photos have been collected by fans
over the years and their photographer is unkown. We could not
be more pleased that Brooke and Vicky have so generously offered their
pictures to share with all of us! They request however, that the
photos not be posted elsewhere nor used in any other way
without explicit permission. The photos are presented here
for the first time online.
Photos 130-142, added at Winterfest 2013, are from the collection of Carol Kyne.
Our great thanks to Larry Baca for scanning all the photos!
If you are fortunate enough to have more set photos, or know how to
contact someone who does,
please
let us know! We'd be more than happy to add them to our collection.
Enjoy your walk through the
B&B set! And if you wish, take a look through the episodes and
find
these exact sets as they appeared onscreen. Be careful in your search,
for many small things changed from episode to episode. For instance,
note the items that lined the top of the bookshelf beneath Vincent's
stained glass window - Vincent moved his treasures around a lot! And
notice the different quilts on Vincent's bed. That statue of the lady
holding the urn on her head? She mysteriously "moves" from Vincent's
chamber to Father's! Good luck in your search! (A hint: some of the
pictures were taken on the very last day of filming.)
You'll find set
photos on the left below, screencaps on the right, where we have them.

cap
we're missing - or a better one than we have, we'll be most grateful.
