| Our charity this year is the Wendt Center for Loss and Healing.
This organization helps all members of the community heal from loss,
illness, trauma, and violence through a variety of ways. The Wendt
Center Training institute helps train caregivers and professionals on
the best ways to support others. They host summer camps for children,
teens, and family to help cope with grief. The Center also provides
individual and group therapy to those in need, as well as a vast array
of other services. We chose this organization because it embodies the
values our community and the show instilled in providing help and
support to others. Because our community and the tunnels provided a
safe space to heal, we share our light by helping others. We become the
light at the end of the tunnel. |
