posts counter on member list?

I see an already impressive number of posts next to several members' names but I can't find that many posts to read on the forums. Where are all the posts? (does the counter include private messages?)

I don't know if it includes private messages or not, but there's a hidden group - one we used to decide how to set this whole thing up, so that's where all the other posts are.

The count does not include PMs, it is only the messages posted in the forum.
