Eventsregarding this appeal lead to conflict with Father. In a secondstoryline, Mitch Denton attacks Catherine's friends as revengeagainst Vincent. The fallout from this leads to several maincharacters' relocation away from the tunnels. The main characters inthis story are not Vincent and Catherine but Dayce, the lawyerintroduced in Volume 2, and Alan.
