Essentially, each story details the personal andprofessional life, and character, of one or more of the Vincenti,descendants (often great-great-grandchildren) of Vincent andCatherine, who bear Vincent's dominant leonine traits. Occasionally,we get glimpses of Vincent and Catherine, now well into theirnineties. But the main focus is on the multitudinous youngergenerations. Besides the 11 tales, which include both slightvignettes, full-scale stories, and a novelette, there are poems byDebbie Ruth DiSantis and Katherine Garnett.

V/C duel through the bond, sending eachother overwhelming sexual images at awkward times. Several storiesfollow storylines set up in previous volumes. In a sequel to a storyin VW-4, Father is shanghaied for a visit to the privateisland. A lot of explicit sex. Some of Kehoe's poems reflect 3rdseason situations, but not the fiction.

"A Visceral, MasculineUrge" recounts the bickering and humorous setbacks involved whenAllegra's forceful request for a new sink escalates intomisadventures as Devin and V install a new bathroom.
